Locum Source Staffing is working with a hospital in Minnesota that is looking for General Surgery 24hr call coverage starting in April or as soon as credentialed.

DATES:
As soon as credentialed – ongoing

SCHEDULE:

4/6 7a - 4/12 7a
4/14 7a - 4/19 7a
4/22 7a - 4/26 7a

5/11 7a - 5/17 7a
5/20 7a - 5/24 7a
5/27 7a - 5/31 7a

Possible ongoing vacation coverage

RESPONSIBILITIES & PROCEDURES
Adult, Pediatric, & Trauma General Surgical Cases
Breast Surgery
Chest Tube Insertion
Cholecystectomy
Hernioplasty
Appendectomy
All GI – Upper, Lower, Sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy

SETTING:
Annual ER volume: 8400
Demographic: Adult 92%, Geriatric 6%, Adolescent & Peds 2%
Average surgeries per shift is 0-1
EMR system is EPIC/Dragon


REQUIREMENTS:
Board Certified General Surgery
Active Minnesota license
BLS, ACLS, ATLS, DEA
Clean malpractice and no background
Local provider
