Colorectal Surgery Opening – Coeur d’Alene, Idaho
Location: Coeur d’Alene, ID
Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient
Seeking a fellowship-trained, Board Certified or Board Eligible Colorectal Surgeon to join a regional referral center in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. This opportunity offers a collaborative surgical environment, modern facilities, and strong subspecialty support within a high-quality surgical program.
Position Highlights:
Fellowship-trained colorectal surgery position
Join an experienced team of five general surgeons and four advanced practice providers
Shared group call with no trauma call responsibilities
Collaborative relationships with gastroenterology and medical oncology teams
Practice schedule typically includes two operating room days and two clinic days per week
Dedicated operating room block time including robotic block time
381-bed hospital with 17 operating rooms
Two da Vinci Xi robotic systems with expansion planned
Level II Trauma Center
Emphasis on quality, safety, teamwork, and patient satisfaction
Qualifications:
Fellowship training in Colorectal Surgery
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Colorectal Surgery
Eligible for Idaho medical licensure
Experience working in busy surgical clinic and hospital environments preferred
Strong collaborative and patient-centered approach
