JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active Pennsylvania License
• Board: Board Certified in Cardio-thoracic Surgery
• DEA: Active DEA Required
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Experience: Fellowship Training Required
• Other Qualifications: Local candidates preferred
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide Cardio-thoracic surgery coverage in a hospital-based setting
• Perform adult cardiac and general thoracic surgical procedures
• Manage cardio-thoracic surgery consultations and patient care
• Round on assigned patients with APP and Surgical PA support
• Participate in call coverage on an as-needed 1:3 rotation
• Evaluate and treat patients requiring CABG, aortic surgery, pericardial window procedures, tube thoracostomy, and thoracic aneurysm management
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
