Locums Cardiovascular Surgery Physician in Joplin, Missouri - Dedicated CVOR Team, Ongoing Potential
Join an established heart program with dedicated operating rooms, robust APP resources, and multidisciplinary support for adult cardiac and vascular surgery.

Practice & Cases
- Adult cardiac and vascular surgery
- Approximately 130 CABG procedures annually with similar TAVR volume
- General thoracic surgery experience is beneficial
- Three cardiovascular operating rooms, including a hybrid room
Schedule
- Inpatient coverage with shared call
- Average workday of approximately 6 to 8 hours
- Initial multi-week coverage block
- Potential for 1 to 2 weeks per month of additional coverage
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO
- Must be Board Certified with Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery CAQ
- Missouri license or active IMLC LOQ required
