New Cardiac Surgery Locums Job l Central Georgia
Our client in Georgia is seeking a Cardiac Surgeon to assist with ongoing coverage until new surgeons are in place. The ideal candidate will have ongoing availability to cover, and be willing to go through a 4-month credentialing timeline. Details/Requirements for Assignment #116796:
- Currently seeking coverage to start as soon as privileged (typically 3–4-month timeframe) until permanent candidates are identified
- Active GA license and GA-DEA required (can also consider candidates with a current LOQ from the IMLC)
- Location: 90 minutes from Atlanta, GA
- Case mix: Cardiac Surgery, open heart surgeries, coronary artery bypass grafting (CABGs)
- Full coverage: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm + 2 two weekends per month 5pm Friday-8am Monday
- 7 days shared call with MDs, they have 3 APP providers who assist with rounding, assist in OR, handle desktop, calls, paperwork, etc.
- Call is shared with 3 APPs
- Can expect 3-5 cases per day
- No trauma designation
- EMR EPIC
- Coverage for 1 facility only
