Overview:
* Seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgeon
* Join established team of 2 CV&T surgeons in a collaborative, high-quality program
* Broad-spectrum practice: ~70% cardiac / 30% general thoracic
* Shared weekend call across 3 physicians covering multiple hospitals
* Strong mentorship opportunity with experienced surgeons
* Care team includes 5 APCs, 2 RNs, and 1 CMA
* High-volume referral base supported by large cardiology and primary care network
* Participation in STS database and quality initiatives
* Opportunity for leadership involvement and health system governance

Clinical Highlights:
* Coronary artery bypass (including re-operative cases)
* Complex valve repair and replacement (Mitral, AVR, root reconstruction)
* Aortic and thoracic aortic disease surgery (including TEVAR)
* Atrial fibrillation ablation procedures
* TAVR program participation (established structural heart program)
Thoracic Surgery:
* Robotic-assisted lung cancer surgery
* Esophageal surgery (cancer, motility disorders, Zenker’s diverticulum)
* Minimally invasive thoracic procedures
* Diaphragm repairs, thymus tumors, myasthenia gravis
Stroke Prevention Procedures:
* Carotid endarterectomy
* TCAR (trans-carotid artery revascularization)
