About this Role:

As a Cardiothoracic Surgeon, you will be employed with the Intermountain Medical Group and join the Cardiothoracic Surgery team at the McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah.


You will collaborate with a team of experienced Cardiovascular Surgeons and Advanced Practice Practitioners (APPs) who contribute to providing top of the line patient care services with a full range of cardiovascular services including coronary and peripheral interventions, ASD/PFO closure, comprehensive non-invasive cardiovascular lab with ICAEL (and soon ICAVAEL) certification, full EP services, dedicated CHF clinic, and vein ablations.

This position is full time and will help build consultative inpatient service in addition to expand outpatient clinic access. Shifts will vary Monday-Friday with rotating calls, holidays, and weekends. Schedule will be determined amongst the group of providers.

The ideal candidate will be

  • Board-certified or board-eligible cardiothoracic surgeon

  • Interested in contributing to a growing program with strong institutional support

  • Able to bring applicable experience as defined by position leadership

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
