Clinical Role:

• Start: ASAP

• End: August 1, 2026

• Schedule: 7:00am–7:00am call coverage

• ER trauma call coverage for Cardiothoracic Surgery

• Assigned and unassigned patients

• Admissions required

• Average patients per shift: 5

• Facility capacity: 12 beds

• Trauma Level II facility

• Hospital Stroke Certified

Required Experience and Cases:

• Experience with open heart surgery and thoracic procedures required

• Common cases include:

  • Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG)

  • Valve replacement surgery

  • Major thoracic vascular surgery

  • Ventricular aneurysm repair

  • Adult congenital cardiovascular surgery

  • Traumatic cardiovascular surgery

Practice Setting:

• Hospital-based practice

• ER trauma call coverage

• EMR systems:

  • Athena (Practice)

  • Cerner (Hospital)

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery – Required

• Fellowship – Required

• Active California license – Required

• ACLS – Required

• BLS – Required
