A busy Level II Trauma Center in Minnesota is actively seeking a skilled Cardiothoracic Surgeon for priority locum coverage dates, with additional ongoing needs.

⚡ Emergency temporary privileges available for clean files
⚠️ Must submit a complete credentialing packet
📍 Active MN license or IMLC required

📅 Priority Coverage Dates

• March 16–22

• March 30–April 5

• April 20–26

• May 4–10

(Additional coverage beyond these dates.)

January 1 start ideal (Credentialing Committee: January 5, 2026).

🕒 Schedule

• M–F 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• 1:3 Call Rotation

  • Daytime coverage

  • Overnight call (5:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

  • 24-hour weekend call

🫀 Strong Cardiac Case Volume

• ~250 CABG / Valve cases annually

• ~200 TAVR

• ~100 Mitral Clips

• ~35 Lead Extractions

• Predominantly routine cardiac cases

No electrophysiology cases
Oncology lung cases referred to another facility

🔬 Surgical Scope Includes

• Aortic aneurysms & dissections

• CABG & valve repair/replacement

• Atrial fibrillation surgery

• Carotid endarterectomy

• Congenital heart surgery

• LVAD & heart failure surgery

• Minimally invasive & robotic cardiac surgery

• Thoracoscopic surgery

• TAVR / Structural heart

Ideal candidate is proficient in cardiothoracic and vascular procedures (flexible case mix considered).
