1–2 Weeks/Month | Strong APP Support | High Daily Rate
Established cardiac program seeking a BC/BE Cardiothoracic Surgeon for flexible coverage (1–2 weeks per month). Located in Northern Virginia, within commuting distance of DC.
Schedule
- 1–2 weeks/month (Mon–Mon blocks)
• Morning hospital rounding (7–8a)
• 2–3 clinic days/week (post-op follow-ups)
• Shared 24-hour call
• Strong APP coverage in clinic and hospital
Case Mix
- CABG
• Valves
• Aortic surgery
• AFib procedures
• TAVR
• Endovascular aneurysm repair
Established, stable cardiac program with multidisciplinary support.
Compensation
- $300-$4000/day
• Malpractice provided
• Travel assistance available
Requirements
- BC/BE Cardiothoracic Surgery (ABTS)
• VA license or eligible
• DEA
