A Level II Trauma Center in Ogden, Utah is seeking CVT Surgery locum coverage for a short-term 24-hour call assignment.
Assignment Dates
March 28, 2026 (7:00 AM) – April 6, 2026 (7:00 AM)
Call coverage only — no clinic responsibilities
Position Overview
This is an inpatient-based role providing 24-hour call coverage with a manageable surgical volume and strong onsite support.
Clinical Volume
- Approx. 10–12 patients per week
- 3–5 consults per 7 days
- 1–3 surgeries per week
- Typically 1 cardiac case
- 2–3 thoracic cases
Required Skillset
- Cardiovascular surgery
- Thoracic surgery (required)
Practice Environment
- Inpatient setting
- Level II Trauma Center
- EMR: Meditech
- Support staff includes:
- 1 APP
- 1 RN
- 1 MA
- 1 MOS
Requirements
- Board Certified (BE considered)
- Active Utah medical license – Required
- Utah DEA – Required
- Temporary privileges available
- Credentialing: ASAP
