This Cardiovascular Surgery locums opportunity in Coon Rapids, Minnesota offers coverage at a Level II Trauma center with a high-volume, well-established cardiovascular program. While there is an ongoing need, the dates listed below represent priority coverage blocks. The practice focuses primarily on routine cardiac cases with strong structural heart and surgical volume.

Lead Extractions: ~35

Aortic aneurysms

Aortic dissections

Atrial fibrillation surgery

Cardiac valve repair and replacement

Carotid endarterectomy

Congenital heart surgery

Coronary artery bypass surgery

Esophageal surgery (minimally invasive)

Heart failure surgery

LVAD surgery

Minimally invasive and robotic heart surgery

Pacemaker procedures

Proficient in Cardiothoracic and Vascular surgery (flexibility within scope acceptable)
