Cardiovascular Surgery - Tucson, AZ
THE OPPORTUNITY
Tucson, AZ presents a compelling opportunity for a Cardiovascular Surgery physician seeking the right balance of clinical challenge and quality of life. Join a leading heart team in sunny Southern Arizona as an employed Cardiothoracic Surgeon. This role offers the chance to significantly impact patient outcomes while benefiting from a collaborative environment and a physician-led organizational culture.
THE ROLE
• Full-time, with 1–2 days in clinic and 3–4 days in the OR.
• Call: Shared, compensated hospital call coverage at two facilities with one other CT surgeon.
• Volume: ~12 patients per clinic day; 5–7 surgeries per week.
• Team: The team includes leading experts in interventional cardiology, advanced heart valve therapies, and electrophysiology, along with a supportive clinical team including a practice manager, medical assistant, and surgery scheduler.
• St. Mary’s Hospital is a Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award recipient, a Certified Primary Plus Stroke Center, and a designated Cardiac Receiving Center with state-of-the-art facilities and technology including a hybrid OR and robotic surgical platform.

REQUIREMENTS
• MD or DO from accredited institution
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Surgery
• Active AZ medical license or ability to obtain
• MD or DO
• Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Eligible for Arizona medical licensure
