• Location: Coon Rapids, MN
• Setting: Acute Care Hospital | Level II Trauma
• Start Date: 3/9/2026 (emergency temps available for clean files)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (flexible)
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens (1099)
• Pay Range: (call to discuss full structure)

Call Requirements

• 1 in 3 call week rotation
• During call week:
  • Day shift
  • Overnight call (5 PM – 7 AM)
  • Weekend 24-hour call
• Call is required
• MN license or IMLC required (no licensing candidates accepted)

Case Mix (High CT Volume)

Predominantly routine cardiothoracic surgery including:

• CABG / Valves / Routine CT
• Aortic aneurysms
• Aortic dissections
• Minimally invasive & robotic heart surgery
• Thoracoscopic surgery
• TAVR / Structural Heart
• LVAD
• Pacemaker
• TEE / Cardioversion
• Congenital heart surgery
• Esophageal (minimally invasive)
• Carotid endarterectomy

Approximate Annual Volumes:

• 250 CABG/Valves
• 200 TAVRs
• 100 Clips
• 35 Lead extractions

Not included:

• Oncology lung cases (sent to another facility)
• No EP cases

Ideal candidates are proficient in Cardiothoracic + Vascular procedures; flexibility offered.
