Locums – Langhorne, Pennsylvania | Cardiovascular Surgery Opportunity
A hospital-based cardiovascular surgery program in Langhorne, PA is seeking locum coverage due to ongoing need. This role focuses on overnight and weekend call coverage in a high-volume Level II trauma center.
Coverage Details:

Start: ASAP
-
Duration: Ongoing
-
Shifts: Nights and weekends
-
Overnight Coverage: Approximately 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
-
Weekend Call: 2–3 weekends per month (24-hour coverage)
-
On-Call Coverage: 24-hour cardiovascular surgery call during scheduled nights and weekends
Practice Setting & Volume:

Hospital-based with rounding responsibilities

Level II Trauma Center
-
Operating Rooms: 16
-
Average cases per day: ~2
-
Patient population: Adult and geriatric
Procedures & Clinical Scope:
-
Aneurysm repair
-
Carotid artery endarterectomy (CEA)
-
Femoral bypass surgery
-
Fistula creation
-
Endovascular and open reconstruction for deep vein occlusions
-
Endovascular therapy for peripheral artery disease (PAD)
-
Endovascular therapy for limb gangrene
Additional Conditions Treated:
-
Vascular malformations
-
Nutcracker syndrome
-
Lymphedema
-
Venous wounds, carotid stents, varicose veins
Credentialing & Licensing:
-
Credentialing timeframe: 90–120 days
-
Providers with an active PA license may credential more quickly
Active Pennsylvania license required (willingness to obtain considered)
Qualifications:
-
Board Certified in Vascular Surgery
-
Completion of Vascular Surgery Fellowship
-
BLS and ACLS required
-
Clean malpractice history required
-
Local provider preferred
