COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Rate: Fixed (Daily; OT after 10 hours; Weekly OT after 168 hours)

- Inpatient cardiothoracic surgical cases
- Pre€‘operative and postoperative rounding
- Emergent weekend surgical cases as needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses: Active FL license required
- Board: BC/BE in Cardiothoracic Surgery
- DEA: Active DEA Certification
- Certifications: BLS/ACLS as applicable
- Experience: Cardiothoracic surgery experience required
- Other Qualifications: Ability to collaborate with APPs; telehealth not required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform inpatient cardiothoracic surgical cases
- Conduct pre€‘operative and postoperative rounding with APP support
- Cosign APP€‘created progress notes and consult notes; add surgeon notes as needed
- Provide weekend rounding (approximately one weekend per month)
- Cover emergent weekend OR cases and respond to new consults
- Participate in night call rotation (MonThu) as assigned
- Respond to ER, CVICU, and PA€‘initiated calls when escalated
