Cardiothoracic Surgeon needed for Locum Tenens coverage at government facility in GA!

Job description
Specialty: Must be Board Certified in Cardiothoracic surgery
Commitment: Initial 6-month commitment with ability to extend
Schedule/Shifts Times: Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p, splitting time between clinic & OR (60/40)
Call: 24/7 weekday & weekend call
Patient Volume: 5-9 patients per day average in clinic, number of procedures per day while in surgery ~4 (this is an assumption)
Patient Ages: Adults only (18+)
Types of Cases: Cardiac Surgery services, including but not limited to the following: Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting, cardiac valve repairs and replacements, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement, and other complex Cardiothoracic surgery procedures.
Type of Charting: EMR
Requirements: BLS, ACLS (through American Heart), DEA
Credentialing Timeframe: 8 weeks on average
