Seeking a Locum Cardiovascular Surgeon to provide coverage for holiday dates. The physician will perform cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgical procedures, hospital rounding, and on-call duties as needed.
Job Responsibilities
Aneurysm repair
Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG)
Heart valve replacement
Provide on-call surgical and patient care coverage
Collaborate with the cardiovascular surgery team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
Qualifications
Fellowship training in Cardiovascular Surgery – Required
Active South Carolina medical license – Required (no pending applications accepted)
Active ACLS certification – Required
Clean background and malpractice history – Required
Self-query NPDB report submitted at presentation – Required
Working Hours
November 27–30, 2025 (Thanksgiving Day & Weekend)
December 25–28, 2025 (Christmas Day & Weekend)
Schedule: 24-hour call coverage
Skills
Strong inpatient and critical care management
Effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams
Proficiency in EPIC EMR
