Job description
We’re seeking Board-Certified Cardiovascular Surgeons for a locum opportunity providing 24-hour call coverage in Texas. This is a 4–6 month assignment with flexible shift availability and the potential to build a full-time schedule with multiple surgeons.
🩺 Job Details:

Start Date: July 25, 2025

Schedule: 24-hour call shifts (7am–7am)

Duration: July 25 – August 1 (with ongoing needs for 4–6 months)

Location: Texas (multiple hospital sites within the same city)

Setting: Inpatient CV surgical call (ED + elective referrals)

Volume: 10–15 patients/day
(Average callback: ~6.5 hrs weekdays, ~3.5 hrs weekends)
💼 Duties:

Full-scope cardiovascular & thoracic surgery
-
Must be able to harvest veins (PA support may be provided)

Manage both emergent and elective surgical cases
✅ Requirements:

Board Certified / Eligible in Cardiovascular Surgery

Fellowship-trained in CV Surgery
-
Clean malpractice history required
-
Active TX license or IMLC with LOQ

BLS & ACLS (can be completed onsite if needed)
