Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult
Setting: Inpatient and outpatient (hospital and clinic)
Responsibilities:

Perform cardiothoracic surgical procedures

Rounding and clinic responsibilities
-
Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical team

Build and develop the cardiothoracic surgery program
-
Participate in on-call schedule (10–12 days/month, including 2 weekends/month)
Required Procedures: Cardiothoracic surgery
EMR System: EPIC
Support Staff: Existing surgical and hospital team; joining as 2nd surgeon
Days Per Month: Full-time
On-Call/Weekends: Yes – 10–12 days/month, including 2 weekends
Submission Requirements:

Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery – Required

Fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery – Required

Florida License or application in progress – Required

Minimum 6 years relevant experience – Required

Clean malpractice and license history – Required

J-1 Visa candidates accepted (must note in submission)

ACLS, BLS, DEA – Required
