💰 $3800 per 24hr Call Coverage
📍 Hospital-Based | Adult Patients Only
Schedule:
-
Ongoing 24hr call shifts (6am–6am)
-
Fridays, weekends, and occasional weekday vacation coverage
-
Start: As soon as credentialed (approx. 90 days)
Practice Details:
-
Facility: 400-bed hospital | 12 ICU beds
-
Level 1 Trauma Center
-
EMR: Epic
-
Average: 10–15 hospital-based patients/day
-
1–2 admissions, 8–10 ICU patients, 1–2 surgeries
-
-
Support: 2 physicians + 5 mid-levels
-
On-call physician expected to supervise and provide clinical oversight
Job Responsibilities
General Cardiovascular/Thoracic Surgery (open)
Coronary Artery Bypass (on-pump & off-pump)
Valvular Repair & Replacement
Aneurysm Repair (Cardiac & Aorto-thoracic)
Congenital Defect Repair (ASD, VSD, PFO, etc.)
ECMO Cannulation & Stabilization for transfer
Preferred Skills:
Management of acute volume/BP issues
Central Line, Arterial Line, PA Catheter, IABP insertion
Qualifications
Active CO license or IMLC
Able to perform all listed required procedures (cardiac focus)
Strong surgical case volume & recent dissections experience (case logs may be requested)
ACLS & BLS (AHA-certified)
COVID vaccinated
