Locum Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Dates of Coverage: Starting as soon as credentialed for weekend coverage.
- Reason for Coverage: Down to 2 surgeons, will need a locums for some weekend help
- Practice Setting: hospital based/ rounding
- Call Ratio: as needed 1:3
- Average Number of Cases Per Day: varies - very few on weekends
- Trauma Level/Designation: II
- Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
- Description of Ancillary Staff: APP rounding, Surgical PA
- Patient Age Demographic: Adult / Geriatric
- Scope of Services Required: Adult Cardiac Surgery, General Thoracic Surgery
- Aortic Surgery Procedures Required: varies on aorta
- Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery Procedures Required: CABG
- Procedures Required: Pericardial Window, Tube Thoracostomy, Thoracic aortic aneurysms
- Facility will Reimburse Flight and Hotel
Qualifications
Fellowship Training - Required
PA License - Preferred
BLS, ACLS- Required
PA DEA - Required
Working Hours
Friday, Saturday and Sunday
