Locums Cardiothoracic Surgeon in Iowa - Weekend-Only Coverage
Weekend call coverage opportunity in Iowa, near Des Moines, with light volume and full travel provided.
Highlights
- 1-2 weekends/month; vacation coverage also needed
- Light case load: 2-6 cases per weekend
- Credentialing in 30-60 days
- Open to IMLC surgeons
Practice Setting
- Inpatient setting at a Level 3 center
- Adult patients only
- Epic EMR
Schedule
- Friday 5pm - Monday 5am
- Full and half weekend shifts available
- Holiday weekends especially needed
Cases and Procedures
- Full scope of cardiothoracic and cardiovascular surgeries
- Includes open-heart cases and pacemaker insertions
Requirements
- Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Active Iowa license or IMLC eligibility
Travel Accommodations
