Nurse Practitioner - Cardiovascular Surgery, Physician Assistant - Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery
Start Date: ASAP
Reason for Coverage: Scheduling Need
End Date: 05-01-2024
3 months at the very least
Location – Tucson AZ,
Monday – Friday, hours may vary, but typically 8am to 5pm. Some weekends.
Certifications required - RNFA, ACLS, BLS, COVID vaccine (all APP providers are board certified
Need help rounding on the weekend, but no call.
EMR system – We use Athena in the office and Cerner in the hospitals.
We only have one CT surgeon, and he has an MA and Surgery Scheduler.
The surgeon rounds, however may ask for weekend help to round on patients only.
Percentage of OR/Clinic/ICU? – 40% hospital, 40% clinic, 20% ICU/rounding
Candidate will need to round on CT surgeon
patients in the hospital.
