- Call coverage needed, ongoing as soon as credentialed.
- No specific dates are provided until provider has accepted an offer.
- Friday, Saturday, Sunday, some vacation week day call coverage 5p-6a
- Hospital based
- 100% Adult
- 10-15 hospital based patients on average per day
- PPD: 1-2 Admissions, 8-10 ICU, 1-2 Surgeries
- 400 Total number of beds
- 12 ICU Beds
- 2 Physicians in practice, 5 Mid-levels
- Reason for coverage: change in staffing, looking to backfill
- Level 1 trauma
- EMR: Epic
- 2 Physicians needed
- Required to supervise and provide clinical oversight as appropriate while on call.
- No other thoracic surgeons will be present during locum call coverage.
- 90 day credentialing timeframe
- General CV/Thoracic Surgery - open
- Coronary artery bypass surgery - on pump & Off-pump
- Congenital defects (ASD< VSD, PFO, etc.)
- Valvular Repair & replacement
- Aneurysm Repair - Cardiac & Aorto-thoracic
- ECMO Cannulation and Patient stabilization for transport to academic center in Denver.
- Evaluation and management of acute vol /BP issues
- Insertion of Central Line, Arterial Line, PA catheter, IABP
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- Board Certified Cardiovascular Surgery (ABMS/AOA) - Required
- Active Colorado License or active IMLC - Required
- Active BLS, ACLS - Required
- Must note provider is able to perform all required procedures - REQUIRED
- Clean background/no malpractice - Required
- COVID vaccinated - Required, note at time of name clear

- Board Certified
