We're looking for a dynamic PERM Breast Surgeon who will act as a leader to help build and expand our breast care center. This is an employed position with the Physician Group, but will work collaboratively with members of the Medical and Radiation Oncology independent group.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluating and managing patient to help prevent, detect and treat exclusively benign and malignant breast diseases (there is no general surgery call).
- Monday - Friday standard working hours
- Call coverage 1:2 (call is light – few emergencies)
- Weekday and weekend call - to be split with another provider.
- The surgeon will conduct surgical and non-operative procedures, with access to the most advanced technology including; intraoperative image guidance, ultrasound, 3D Mammography and MRI imaging and biopsy.
- This position will allow a physician to quickly step into an established breast program and help build on delivering excellent patient care.
- Provider needs to be fellowship trained, but will look at new grads coming out of fellowship!
- Credentialing will take a full 90-120
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- BC/BE General Surgery with extensive breast surgery experience - Required
- Fellowship trained in Breast or Surgical Breast Oncology - Required
- PA license - Required
