Current seeking a BC/BE fellowship-trained breast surgeon to add to its expanding multi-disciplinary program in Charlotte, NC. With a rapidly growing market and a robust cancer program, we are hiring to add a clinician to our uptown cancer center and extend the program to a newly opened satellite hospital.
Currently, three fellowship-trained surgeons treat nearly 1,000 breast cancer patients per year.
Position offers great opportunities for collaboration, clinical research, and no general surgery call obligations.
Group is COC accredited and was one of the first 100 programs nationally to be NAPBC accredited (since 2009). Highlights include a comprehensive breast cancer RN navigation system since 2004, weekly multidisciplinary breast cancer conferences, a genetics and high-risk program, and weekly multidisciplinary breast cancer clinics for patients and families.
Location: The Greater Charlotte market offers attractive living with access to shopping, fine dining, plentiful outdoor recreation, professional sporting events, concerts, and cultural events, public and private schools, and universities. The Lake Norman area just north of Charlotte is one of the most rapidly growing in the country, in great part due proximity to the lake, mountains and beach. Premier health care leader with 14 hospitals and employs over 1600 physicians in NC, SC, and VA.
