Breast Surgical Oncology Opportunity in Ashland, KY
A growing oncology program in Eastern Kentucky is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Breast Surgical Oncologist to join an established and expanding cancer care team. This is a full-time, hospital-based opportunity focused exclusively on breast surgery with no general surgery call responsibilities.
Practice Details
- Full-time employed position
- Breast surgery focus only – no general surgery call
- Hospital-based outpatient practice
- Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Balanced schedule with 2–3 days in the OR and 2–3 days in clinic
- Average patient volume: 20+ per day
- Service area population of approximately 750,000
- EMR: Epic
Clinical Responsibilities
- Perform breast surgical oncology procedures
- Evaluate and manage patients with breast disease and breast cancer
- Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards
- Collaborate closely with medical and radiation oncology teams
- Develop individualized treatment plans for complex cases
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR

Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Fellowship-trained in Breast Surgical Oncology
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Eligible for Kentucky medical licensure
- Strong interest in multidisciplinary cancer care
