Breast Surgical Oncology Opening – Charlotte Region, North Carolina
Location: Charlotte, NC
Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Specialty: Breast Surgical Oncology
Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient
Seeking a fellowship-trained Breast Surgical Oncologist to join a collaborative, multidisciplinary breast program in the Charlotte region of North Carolina. This position offers the opportunity to practice within an established, accredited breast center while participating in clinical care, research, and teaching.
Position Highlights:
NAPBC-accredited breast center within an integrated cancer institute
Primary practice location in Charlotte with a secondary site in South Charlotte
Team includes 3 physicians and 5 advanced practice providers
Care for more than 1,100 new breast cancer cases annually
Full-time schedule with a mix of clinic and operating room time
Opportunity to participate in clinical research
Teaching opportunities through academic affiliation with UNC-Chapel Hill
Weekly multidisciplinary cancer conference participation
Involvement in institute-level and statewide breast cancer tumor councils
Advanced practice provider support in both clinic and operating room
Each physician covers their own call
Responsibilities:
Care for adult patient population (18+)
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Surgery
Fellowship training in Breast Surgical Oncology
