Fellowship trained Breast Surgeon Career Opportunity
Piedmont Oncology has an exciting opportunity for a fellowship trained breast surgeon to participate in developing a breast care program in the Covington and Conyers area. This market is already supporting 2 busy Medical Oncology practices who will partner to help grow services. The ideal candidate will be board certified in general surgery and have successfully completed a fellowship in breast surgery.
This position will split time between Piedmont Newton and Piedmont Rockdale hospitals with APP support. Surgical procedures include mastectomies, lumpectomies, excisional biopsies, and port placement for chemotherapy along with other breast surgery general procedures.
We also have Breast Surgery openings at our Athens and Eastside hospital locations
Requirements:
- Board Certified in General Surgery
- Active license in Georgia or eligible to obtain
- Ability to perform cyst aspirations and ultrasound core biopsies in the office.
- Experience with other breast surgery general procedures
