Shift Details (hours): 8am-5pm

Schedule (full-time, part-time): Full-time – Monday – Friday – would love someone to participate in the call rotation but it’s not a deal breaker

Work Details:

• What support staff is available in the dept: LPN/CMA rooming staff, RNs, Nurse Navigators, surgery schedulers, advanced practice providers
• Amount of coverage needed per month: 5 days per week
• Patients per day: 15-20
• Patient Population/Age: breast center; primarily female
• Department Description: Full-service breast center with onsite imaging and breast radiologists, surgical oncology, and medical oncology
• EMR: EPIC
• Hospital Bed size: 700 beds at Abbott – West Health is an Ambulatory Surgery Center for same day surgeries
• Any Special Procedures needed: breast surgery (oncologic and benign) lumpectomy, mastectomy etc. No percutaneous biopsy needed (on site radiology performs all biopsies and localizations).
• Skills Required: breast surgeon

Requirements:

• Board Certification: surgical oncology or breast surgery. Willing to consider general surgeon if have significant breast surgery experience.
• License required or are you willing to license: willing to license
• DEA required: yes
• Minimum Experience Required: breast surgeon/surgical oncology

Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days – temps can be approved if provider has no background or work history gaps (45 days)
