Job description Sleep Medicine Physician Location: Olympia, Washington Job Type: Full Time Department: Sleep Medicine Reports To: Managing Partner Position Summary: We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Sleep Medicine Physician to join our multidisciplinary sleep center. The ideal candidate will diagnose and manage a variety of sleep disorders, including obstructive sleep apnea, insomnia, narcolepsy, restless legs syndrome, circadian rhythm disorders, and parasomnias. Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and treat patients with sleep disorders in outpatient setting.
  • Interpret sleep studies (polysomnography, home sleep apnea testing, MSLT, MWT).
  • Develop and manage individualized treatment plans, including CPAP therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I), and pharmacologic approaches.
  • Collaborate with sleep technologists, and DME providers.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation
  • Participate in sleep center quality improvement initiatives and accreditation compliance (e.g., AASM standards).
  • Educate patients and their families on sleep health and treatment compliance.
Qualifications:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Sleep Medicine.
  • Board certification in a primary specialty (e.g., Internal Medicine, Neurology, Psychiatry, Pulmonary Medicine, Family Medicine).
  • Valid medical license (or eligibility) in Washington State..
  • DEA license.
  • Excellent clinical, diagnostic, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in adult only sleep medicine
  • Familiarity with AASM accreditation requirements.

This position is with a private practice group made up of 5 Gastroenterologists, 3 Cardiologists. We provide DME to our patients.
