A leading healthcare system in Cambridge, Massachusetts is seeking a Board-Certified Rheumatology Physician for a full-time locum opportunity. This assignment offers outpatient clinic coverage with a collaborative multidisciplinary team, flexible weekday scheduling, and rotating call responsibilities. The provider will work alongside experienced rheumatologists and orthopedic specialists in a high-volume practice utilizing Epic EMR.
Job Responsibilities
• Diagnose and manage autoimmune and musculoskeletal disorders
• Conduct patient evaluations, follow-ups, and treatment planning
• Manage approximately 18 patients per day
• Collaborate with orthopedic providers and clinical staff
• Participate in rotating evening and weekend call coverage
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic EMR
• Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care
Qualifications
• Board Certified in Rheumatology
• Active Massachusetts medical license required
• Current flu vaccination required
• Must provide current/recent direct supervisor reference
• Recent clinical Rheumatology experience preferred
Working Hours
• Clinic hours between 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Variable clinic sessions
• Rotating evening call coverage
• 1:3 weekend call rotation
