Clinical Responsibilities:
β’ Provide comprehensive outpatient rheumatology care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and management of musculoskeletal and autoimmune disorders
β’ Perform routine follow-ups, new patient evaluations, and medication management
β’ Collaborate with orthopedic providers and other specialists for coordinated patient care
β’ Participate in rotational evening and weekend call coverage
β’ Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic EMR
β’ Provide high-quality patient education and support for chronic disease management
Schedule & Assignment Details:
β’ Start Date: As soon as possible; target March 2026
β’ Assignment Length: ~24 weeks with potential extension
β’ Clinic Hours: Monday β Friday, 7:00 AM β 5:00 PM (variable sessions)
β’ Call Requirements: 1/3 weekend and rotating evening coverage
β’ Patient Volume: ~18 patients per day; ~2,000 annual visits
β’ Credentialing Timeline: Standard hospital credentialing required
Required Qualifications:
β’ MD with Board Certification in Rheumatology
β’ Active Massachusetts medical license
β’ Flu vaccination required (no exceptions)
β’ Recent supervisory reference required
β’ Experience in outpatient rheumatology practice
β’ Proficiency with Epic EMR
