Clinical Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive outpatient rheumatology care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and management of musculoskeletal and autoimmune disorders
• Perform routine follow-ups, new patient evaluations, and medication management
• Collaborate with orthopedic providers and other specialists for coordinated patient care
• Participate in rotational evening and weekend call coverage
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic EMR
• Provide high-quality patient education and support for chronic disease management

Schedule & Assignment Details:

• Start Date: As soon as possible; target March 2026
• Assignment Length: ~24 weeks with potential extension
• Clinic Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (variable sessions)
• Call Requirements: 1/3 weekend and rotating evening coverage
• Patient Volume: ~18 patients per day; ~2,000 annual visits
• Credentialing Timeline: Standard hospital credentialing required

Required Qualifications:

• MD with Board Certification in Rheumatology
• Active Massachusetts medical license
• Flu vaccination required (no exceptions)
• Recent supervisory reference required
• Experience in outpatient rheumatology practice
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
