Clinical Responsibilities:

β€’ Provide comprehensive outpatient rheumatology care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and management of musculoskeletal and autoimmune disorders
β€’ Perform routine follow-ups, new patient evaluations, and medication management
β€’ Collaborate with orthopedic providers and other specialists for coordinated patient care
β€’ Participate in rotational evening and weekend call coverage
β€’ Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic EMR
β€’ Provide high-quality patient education and support for chronic disease management

Schedule & Assignment Details:

β€’ Start Date: As soon as possible; target March 2026
β€’ Assignment Length: ~24 weeks with potential extension
β€’ Clinic Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (variable sessions)
β€’ Call Requirements: 1/3 weekend and rotating evening coverage
β€’ Patient Volume: ~18 patients per day; ~2,000 annual visits
β€’ Credentialing Timeline: Standard hospital credentialing required

Required Qualifications:

β€’ MD with Board Certification in Rheumatology
β€’ Active Massachusetts medical license
β€’ Flu vaccination required (no exceptions)
β€’ Recent supervisory reference required
β€’ Experience in outpatient rheumatology practice
β€’ Proficiency with Epic EMR
