We are seeking a Board-Certified Rheumatologist to provide outpatient clinic coverage in a well-established healthcare system in Cambridge, MA. If you enjoy clinic-based care, collaborative environments, and managing complex autoimmune diseases, this opportunity could be a great fit. 🩺 Position Highlights ✨ Primarily outpatient rheumatology practice ✨ Work alongside experienced rheumatologists and orthopedic specialists ✨ Consistent weekday clinic schedule ✨ Manage a diverse range of autoimmune and inflammatory conditions ✨ Utilize Epic EMR for streamlined patient documentation ⏰ Schedule 🗓 Assignment Dates: March 16, 2026 – August 28, 2026 📅 Schedule: Monday – Friday 🕖 Clinic Hours: Between 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM 📊 Clinic Sessions: Variable outpatient clinic sessions 📞 Call Coverage Rotating evening call coverage Approximately 1 in 3 weekends 🏥 Clinical Responsibilities 🔹 Diagnose and treat rheumatologic and autoimmune disorders 🔹 Conduct patient evaluations, medical histories, and physical exams 🔹 Develop personalized treatment and disease management plans 🔹 Manage chronic conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, gout, vasculitis, and connective tissue diseases 🔹 Coordinate care with orthopedic providers and multidisciplinary teams 🔹 Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR 📊 Patient Volume 👩⚕️ Average patients per day: ~18 📈 Annual clinic visits: Approximately 2,000 This provides a steady patient flow with a balanced clinical workload. 👩⚕️ Clinical Environment 🤝 Work with two experienced rheumatologists 🦴 Collaborate with 10+ orthopedic specialists on site 💻 Epic EMR system 🏥 Established outpatient specialty clinic ✅ Requirements ✔ MD / DO – Rheumatology ✔ Board Certified in Rheumatology ✔ Active Massachusetts Medical License ✔ Ability to provide outpatient rheumatology care ✔ Flu vaccination required 📌 A current or most recent direct supervisor reference may be required. 📚 Orientation ✔ Onboarding and orientation provided to ensure familiarity with the clinic systems and workflows. 🌆 Why Cambridge, MA?
