We are seeking a Board-Certified Locum Rheumatologist Physician for a travel rheumatology job in Jackson, Michigan. Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive rheumatology care to adult and geriatric patients
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage complex rheumatologic conditions in the clinic setting
• Perform joint aspirations and corticosteroid injections as part of routine patient care
• Provide hospital-based rheumatology consults during assigned on-call coverage
• Collaborate with medical assistants, registered nurses, and front desk staff for coordinated care
• Maintain high standards of patient safety, clinical quality, and compliance

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Rheumatology
• Fellowship-trained Rheumatologist
• Active Michigan medical license
• Current BLS certification
• Demonstrated ability to perform joint aspirations and injections
• NPDB Self-Query report required at time of presentation

Working Hours

• Clinic Schedule: 4 ten-hour shifts or 5 eight-hour shifts
• On-Call Coverage: 24-hour hospital call
• Call Frequency: Two weeks per month (1:2 call ratio)
• Weekend call included as part of assigned coverage

• Strong outpatient rheumatology clinical expertise
• Proficiency in joint aspiration and injection procedures
• Effective patient communication and care coordination
• Ability to manage clinic and inpatient consult workflows
