Job description
We are seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Rheumatologist to join a growing, patient-focused health system in Ohio. This is a permanent opportunity offering significant schedule flexibility, strong subspecialty support, and a collaborative practice environment. The role is primarily outpatient, with optional inpatient consults, and is well-suited for both new graduates and experienced physicians.
Job Responsibilities
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of rheumatologic conditions
• Collaborate with hospitalists and subspecialists as needed
• Participate in optional inpatient specialist consultations
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Engage in practice development and patient-centered care initiatives
Qualifications
• Active Ohio medical license or willingness to obtain
• DEA license required prior to start
• Clean malpractice and license history
• Locum providers not accepted (permanent role only)
Working Hours
• Part-time or full-time: 2–5 days per week
• Shift options include 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour days
• Optional week-on/week-off schedule available
• Opportunity for extended morning or evening hours
