Rheumatologist – Tulsa, OK Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology Position Overview • Seeking a compassionate and skilled Rheumatologist to join an expanding Rheumatology department in Tulsa, Oklahoma • Opportunity to become part of a growing, well-established team serving a diverse adult patient population • Current team includes 5 physicians and 3 Advanced Practice Providers, with plans to add an additional provider to meet increasing community demand Key Responsibilities • Provide outpatient care for adult patients with a wide range of rheumatologic conditions • Manage autoimmune diseases, inflammatory disorders, and musculoskeletal conditions • Perform joint injections and biopsies (muscle biopsies managed by General Surgery) • Participate in hospital call rotation (1 in every 6 weekends), with weekday relief when covering weekend call • Utilize Dragon voice recognition and Epic for efficient documentation • Collaborate closely with onsite specialists, including Endocrinology, ENT, Podiatry, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, and Urgent Care Work Schedule • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM • 4.5 clinic days per week dedicated to patient care • Weekend call: 1 in every 6 weekends • Weekday and weeknight call shared among 5 providers Department Highlights • Equipped with Sonosite ultrasound and diagnostic microscopy • Infusion services available through affiliated inpatient and cancer treatment facilities • Collaborative clinic environment with access to comprehensive specialty referrals, including pain management • Pediatric Rheumatology not offered locally; pediatric patients aged 11 and older may be seen for consults • Streamlined documentation using Epic and Dragon voice recognition Qualifications • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology • Experience in adult rheumatology and musculoskeletal conditions preferred • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach to patient care Compensation & Benefits • Competitive base salary with wRVU incentive structure • Relocation assistance provided • CME stipend of $4,400 annually • Commencement bonus of $25,000 available • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) with employer match
