Assignment Overview
- Start Date: ASAP (realistic start April due to credentialing)
- Duration: Ongoing
- Reason for Coverage: Current vacancy
- Practice Setting: Office Clinic with Hospital-Based Call
- Trauma Level: Level II
- EMR: Epic
- Patient Population: Adult & Geriatric
- Clinic Schedule Options:
- 4 × 10-hour shifts or
- 5 × 8-hour shifts
- Call Requirement:
- 24-hour hospital call
- 2 weeks per month
- Call Ratio: 1:2
- Call Week: Tuesday–Monday
- Weekend Call: Yes
- Clinic: 16–18 patients/day
- Hospital: ~1 case/day
- Joint aspirations
- Corticosteroid injections
- Group Size: 1 Rheumatologist
- Support Staff: MA, RN, Front Desk
- Board Certified in Rheumatology – Required
- Fellowship Trained in Rheumatology – Required
- Active Michigan Medical License – Required
- BLS Certification – Required
- Ability to perform clinic & hospital-based rheumatology procedures – Required
- Epic EMR Experience – Preferred
