Coverage Needed:
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: Ongoing
- Schedule: 4×10-hour shifts or 5×8-hour shifts
- 24-hour hospital call, two weeks per month (1:2 ratio)
Clinical Details:
- Provide adult and geriatric care
- Practice Setting: Office Clinic with Hospital-Based Call
- Patient Load: 16–18 patients per day in the clinic, 1 case per day in the hospital
- Procedures: Joint aspirations and corticosteroid injections
- EMR System: Epic
- Trauma Level: Level 2
- Support Staff: MA, RN, Front Desk Staff
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Rheumatology
- Michigan medical license
- Fellowship-trained in Rheumatology
- BLS certification
- Ability to perform clinic and hospital-based rheumatology procedures, including joint aspirations and corticosteroid injections
- Familiarity with Epic EMR system (preferred)
- Self-Query NPDB (should be pulled within 30 days)
