Locum Rheumatologist in Jackson, MI
Join our dedicated team in Jackson, Michigan! We are seeking a Board-Certified Rheumatologist with fellowship training to provide exceptional care for adult and geriatric patients. Our facility supports a collaborative healthcare environment with a strong emphasis on patient-centered care, utilizing modern resources to ensure the best possible health outcomes.
The clinic operates on either a 4×10 or 5×8 shift schedule, and you will have the opportunity to perform important procedures such as joint aspirations and corticosteroid injections. Supported by a skilled team, including Medical Assistants and RNs, you can focus on what matters most: your patients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide adult and geriatric rheumatology care in an office clinic setting.
- Perform joint aspirations and corticosteroid injections.
- Manage a patient load of 16–18 patients daily in the clinic and 1 hospital case.
- Participate in a 24-hour hospital call schedule (1:2 ratio) for two weeks per month.
- Utilize the Epic EMR system for patient records and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Rheumatology.
- Fellowship-trained in Rheumatology.
- Ability to perform clinic and hospital-based rheumatology procedures.
- Familiarity with Epic EMR system is preferred.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Current Michigan medical license – [REQUIRED]
- BLS certification – [REQUIRED]
- Self-Query NPDB (pulled within 30 days) – [REQUIRED]
