Shift: Clinic: 4×10s or 5×8s
Call: 24-hour hospital call, 2 weeks/month (Tuesday–Monday, 1:2 ratio)
Start Date: ASAP (realistic start April 2026 due to credentialing)
Dates of Coverage: Ongoing (long-term vacancy coverage)
Location: Michigan
Patient Volume:
- Clinic: 16 - 18 patients/da
- Hospital: 1 case/day
- EMR: Epic
- Credentialing Time: 90 - 120 days
- Logistics Covered: Flight, hotel, rental car, mileage, and malpractice insurance (local providers preferred)
Details:
- Practice Setting: Office-based rheumatology clinic with hospital consults/call
- Trauma Level: Level II
- Group Size: 1 Rheumatologist with MA, RN, and front desk support
- Inpatient Required: Yes (call coverage only)
Procedures Include:
- Joint aspirations
- Corticosteroid injections
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Rheumatology (Required)
- Fellowship-trained in Rheumatology (Required)
- Active Michigan medical license (Required)
- BLS certification (Required)
- Ability to perform clinic and hospital-based rheumatology procedures (Required)
- Epic EMR experience (Preferred)
