Position Overview
Providence Lacey is seeking a Board-Certified Rheumatologist to provide outpatient coverage on a long-term locums basis while recruitment for a permanent provider is underway. This is a part-time role ideal for providers looking for predictable scheduling in the Pacific Northwest.
Schedule & Coverage

10 days per month – typically in a 5 on / 5 off schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Flex option: Could accommodate a 3-day-per-week schedule for local candidates

No call responsibilities
Clinical & Facility Details

Setting: Outpatient Clinic (Urgent Care facility)

Patient Volume: ~21 patients per shift

EMR: Epic

Department Beds: 2

Support Staff: Dedicated team on-site

Additional: Provider should be comfortable collaborating with pharmacy on medication education and management (infusions are managed at an oncology clinic, not on site)
Requirements

Board Certification in Rheumatology

Active WA license or IMLC accepted

Familiarity with intravenous therapies

Credentialing timeframe: 30–60 days (expedited privileges available for clean files)

COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
