Open Rank Rheumatologist - Rheumatology

The Division of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology in the Department of Medicine, Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio (UTHSA) is recruiting a Rheumatologist. This full-time faculty position will hold an appointment of Assistant Professor/Clinical, Associate Professor/Clinical, or Professor/Clinical dependent on level of experience.

We are seeking a candidate interested in an academic role to join an active faculty of physicians that provide outstanding rheumatologic care, conduct research and teach and supervise rheumatology fellows, internal medicine residents and medical students. The faculty member will provide outpatient care at the Robert B Green and Gateway clinic sites, as well as inpatient consult coverage at the UT Health Multispecialty & Research Hospital (MSRH) and University Hospital. Candidate must have an MD or DO degree, completed 3 years of ACGME certified Internal Medicine residency and Rheumatology Board certified or successfully obtain board certification within one year of completing fellowship training.

Required Qualifications
Board certified in Rheumatology Holds an active and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Texas, or the ability to become licensed to practice medicine in the state of Texas
