MercyOne North Iowa in Mason City is looking for a Perm Rheumatologist to join their very busy instant practice. Commencement bonus up to $250,000!

Job Description:
  • Monday-Friday 8a-5p, very minimal call
  • Outpatient; average 16-20 patients per day
  • Level 3 trauma
  • Annual ER volume: 30K
  • 1 ARNP and 1 physician in practice
  • 1:1 clinical support
  • Patient Age Demographic: 18+

  • Teaching opportunity for Internal Medicine and Family Medicine Residents, ARNP/PA students, and medical students

  • Physician support before, during, and after each procedure

  • Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Base salary: $280,000 - range is based on experience and training (to be discussed at interview).
  • Commencement bonus up to $250,000 (5 years of commitment required for full $250K)
  • Loan repayment up to $30,000/year
  • 34 days of time off, annually

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
  • Board Eligible (must be BC within 3 years of becoming eligible) or Board Certified in Rheumatology - REQUIRED
  • Rheumatology fellowship-trained (complete prior to start) - REQUIRED

  • CSA certification (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
