**Rheumatology opportunity in Conway, SC** - Located 10 miles from Myrtle Beach - 325,000 person population **Medical center is seeking a BE/BC Rheumatologist to join its team in Conway, SC.** - Full-time, permanent position - Clinic in 2020 - Operate and manage an infusion center - Daily patient volume is 22 +/- - 95% OP and 5% IP ~ Can be revised as provider is onboard and integrated into the network - Hour of operation: 8 5pm based on office - Work week is 4.5 day clinical and .5 day office w/ flexibility of start and finish day to day - Outpatient only & NO inpatient call - Team of people to handle pre-authorizations - PM&R in place to handle chronic pain/narcotic dependents **Ancillary Services** - Manage infusion center patients, current oncology infusion center will support Rheumatology & Infectious Disease patient only until new infusion center is built in 2021/22 - Volume and need suggest 10 15% infusion need - 340(b) drug program will align with the new service line - Provider has access/referral cannel to CMC PT/OT clinic, Dennis Finley Director of Therapy Center - Salary will be at the MGMA median in market - CME - Student loan repayment - Relocation assistance offered - Independent Nonprofit hospital 501c3; established 1923 - Umbrella employed Physicians Group, PNS Physicians Network Services **Clinic Overview:** - MER = CERNER - Dragon Dictation - Billing pay ratio: The mix for the hospital is the same with the exception of a higher percentage of Self-pay do to the ER and more a 40% Medicare and 10% Medicare advantage again because of the ER, 40% Medicare 10% Medicare advantage, 15% BC 15% Medicaid 10% self-pay 10% commercial - Patient Panel: 82.7% are Caucasian, 13.1% are African-American, and 6.1% are Hispanic.
