Academic Facility In Upstate New York!

This hybrid practice of 35 subspecialized Radiologists is seeking additional Radiologists! This is both a private practice as well as having a Faculty Appointment. All positions are full time academic positions. The Medical Center is a 735 bed, Level 1 tertiary care academic health care center for Central New York. The department averages approximately 1,000 studies daily on an annual basis; across the board and includes Neuroradiology, IR and Nuclear Medicine beyond that of General Diagnostic. There are 24 residents that are of great assistance and they use nighthawk service as well as a number of independent contractor radiologists to help out with reads as necessary.

Neuroradiology Division—is expanding to 8 full-time faculty. Position is 100% Diagnostic Neuroradiology and enjoys a broad spectrum of cases. Call will be 1:7. This full-time academic position offers an opportunity to excel in teaching, research, publication, and patient care.

Thoracic Imaging Section—the ideal candidate should be fellowship trained (or equivalent) in thoracic imaging (optional cardiac imaging) and have a strong interest in academic radiology. Non-fellowship trained candidates will also be considered for this faculty position and trained on-site. Diverse practice: Thoracic and cardiac imaging, biopsies, cardiovascular MRI, cardiovascular Computed Tomography, angiograms, etc.

Breast Imaging/Mammography—100% Breast Position to join a multidisciplinary team of dedicated and compassionate clinicians offering a complete range of breast imaging services—mammography, ultrasound, MRI, ultrasound guided, stereotactic-guided and MRI guided biopsy, pre-operative needle localizations, and 3D tomosynthesis.

Abdominal Section- this division is expanding to 3 full time Abdominal Radiologists. Call will be 1:4 weekend and to 3 week days per month.

Diagnostic Division—is expanding to 9 full-time faculty. Broad spectrum of general diagnostic cases including ultrasound, MR, CT, plain radiographs of abdomen and pelvis, and other modalities.

Pediatric Division - Seeking two full-time board-certified radiologists, including that of a Section Head, with interest and experience in pediatric imaging. A dedicated 71 bed children’s hospital wing opened in the summer of 2009 and is physically part of the main hospital wing. Hospital is a 735 bed Level I trauma tertiary care academic health care center.

MSK Division – the section currently has 2 MSK Radiologists and they are seeking to hire a third MSK Fellowship trained Radiologist. Call is shared with the General pool 1:4 weekends and 3 to 4 week days per month.
