Job Details
- BE/BC in Diagnostic Radiology - reading all aspects of diagnostic imaging (including MSK, Nuclear Medicine and Neuro) - no breast imaging done
- Hospital employed position
- Work Schedule All shifts are 1 week on / 1 week off -7-8 hour shifts
- 14 shifts a month Shift work schedule: 2-10 pm EST M-F Sat/Sun 3-10 pm EST
- Evening shifts are always staffed with at least two radiologists who split the volume from 8-10 pm, Monday through Friday. Several additional radiologists assist with reading cases from 2- 8 pm Monday through Friday. The weekend evening shifts are always covered by two radiologists. Teleradiology is utilized after 10 pm 365 days/yr. The caseload for weekday evenings averages around 50 RVUs per shift, and weekend evenings are around 60 RVUs.
