Established private practice of 54+ has additional openings. They cover 12 hospitals and 5 outpatient facilities. State of the art equipment, full PACS. Average volume per rad is 14,000. Weekend call is 1:4, there is no mandatory overnight call as this is optional for additional income. All physicians starting compensation (salary with bonus) first year will be approx.. 400k, 8 weeks’ vacation (until partnership then 12 weeks) with all benefits. All positions (excluding the 7 on/14 off) offer partnership after 3rd year ; however, other employment options could be considered. Greenville is the health, entertainment and educational hub of North Carolina’s Tidewater and Coastal Plain.

Breast Imager (Greenville)- New hire can expect 90% in Breast Imaging. Their newly renovated high volume Breast Imaging Center of Excellence provides full range of breast imaging services. Skills needed are Tomosynthesis, Ultrasound, CESM, MRI, 3D and Stereotactic biopsies are performed on site. Breast Imagers are well-respected and work closely with academic and private practice physicians to provide a patient centered approach.

Nuclear Med Rad (Greenville) – the high volume section provides a full range of services including both adult & pediatric nuclear imaging and PET. The Nuclear Radiologists work closely with academic and private practice physicians throughout the region to provide a comprehensive approach to patient care. Partnership track position includes evening and weekend call responsibilities. Other “employment” options would be considered.

Body Imager- (Greenville) Work in the Body Section where you will do 100% Body imaging. Call will be covering general diagnostics as well as Body Imaging which will be shared equally with all Rads in the Body Section.

Nights – 7 on/14 off (Greenville) Work ON SITE in a collaborative environment where this is well established workflow, IT and secretarial support. 7 nights (10pm - 7am)/ 14 off. Ideal candidate is fellowship trained in Body Imaging or Emergency Radiology. Join an existing pool of Nighthawks. Two nighthawks work each shift to provide final interpretation on a wide range of emergent and after-hours studies. Each night the Body Nighthawk will be paired with a Neuro Nighthawk for complete coverage. Volume is 200 studies split between two radiologists. Employed position. Salary with bonus is in the mid to upper 300k range, malpractice, health insurance and 401k.

General Radiologist (Kinston/Morehead City)-UNC Lenoir Health Care and Carteret Gen Hosp Morehead City is needed in their outlying hospital about 70 miles from Charlotte or Asheville. Candidates must be proficient in general radiology techniques including X-ray, mammography, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, biopsies, and light interventional radiology. The new hire’s primary location will be based in Kinston but will also be scheduled at times to work at the hospital an hour away. Vibrant community has endless opportunities for outdoor recreation and easy access to the mountains. Call is approx.. once a month with volume averaging 80 to 100 studies per day.
