### Locums | Breast Imaging Radiology | Detroit, MI (Active MI License Required) ### Why This Role

Assignment Details Location: Detroit, Michigan Start Date: As soon as credentialed Duration: Ongoing Commitment: Two to three days per week for two to four weeks per month Schedule: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM Setting: Outpatient clinic Work Model: 100% onsite Call: None Volume: Approximately 40–50 studies and procedures per shift Credentialing: Approximately 90 days Temporary Privileges: Not available Hospital Privileges: Required EMR: Cerner PACS: Change Healthcare, transitioning to Sectra ### Requirements Board certified in Radiology Fellowship trained in Breast Imaging Active Michigan medical license Active BLS certification Local to the Detroit area Knowledge of BI-RADS and MQSA requirements Ability to supervise and teach residents Strong patient-facing communication skills Comfortable managing same-day diagnostic workups ### Required Clinical Skills Screening mammography Diagnostic mammography Breast ultrasound Breast MRI Image-guided breast biopsies Breast localizations Aspirations ### Clinical Details Screening Mammography: Approximately 45–55% of the workload, or 35–40 studies per shift Diagnostic Imaging: Approximately 25–35% Procedures: Approximately 15–25% Fast-paced, clinic-based environment Direct communication of results and procedures to patients Collaboration with technologists, nurses, surgeons, and oncology teams Support includes two RNs, one Medical Assistant, and two office staff members Resident teaching and supervision required No APP supervision required
